All drive benchmarks were done using the freely available CrystalDiskMark 3.
This device was selected due to having UASP compatible firmware. All the ASUS Z87-WS 3. UASP gave us great, but predictable results.
UserBenchmark: Asus ZWS Compatible Builds
The rest of the controllers were limited by the write ASUS Z87-WS of attached devices, though the numbers were exactly what we anticipated. The scaling here is beyond belief. I can only surmise that this is due to burst rates or cache protocols with this particular controller. The results were tested multiple times with the same results.
